The Base Compensation
The base compensation is the foundation of your pay. At On Fertility Ground Surrogacy, you set your own base compensation within our industry-leading range of $60,000 to $100,000+. We do not assign you a rate. We do not negotiate it down. OFG's range is significantly above the broader California industry average — your exact base rate is confirmed in your one-on-one intake conversation with our team.
Additional Fees on Top of Base
- Embryo Transfer Fee: $3,000 per transfer procedure
- Monthly Expense Allowance: $250/month — no receipts required
- Pregnancy Housekeeping: $150/week beginning at 13th gestational week
- Maternity Clothing: $800 singleton / $1,000 twins
- C-Section Fee: $5,000
- Breast Milk Provision: $350/week if agreed upon
- Multiple Pregnancy: Additional $1,500/month per additional fetus from week 18
- Monthly Support Group: $100 per meeting attended
The Pregnancy Wellness & Support Program
OFG funds a $2,000 Pregnancy Wellness & Support Program at contract signing covering acupuncture, prenatal massage, nutrition consultations, mental health support, prenatal yoga, meal delivery, spa credit, and a postpartum support session.
Travel and Reimbursements
All travel costs over 50 miles round trip are fully covered — flights, hotel, ground transportation, meals, childcare, and lost wages.
What Does a Full Journey Total?
A completed single pregnancy surrogacy journey in California typically totals well above $100,000. Some journeys total significantly more.
When and How You Get Paid
All compensation is held in a neutral third-party escrow account. OFG requires the escrow account to be fully funded after contract signing — your base compensation, all projected expenses, and a 15% contingency buffer are secured before any medical procedures begin.
