Become a Surrogate in Colorado

Colorado sets out eligibility for both sides in statute, requires independent Colorado-licensed counsel of your choosing, requires the agreement to be notarized before any medical procedure, and applies whether or not the intended parents are genetically related to the child.

Who qualifies in Colorado

Generally: at least 21 years old, at least one healthy full-term pregnancy and delivery, currently raising your own child, a completed medical evaluation and mental health consultation, non-smoker, and a healthy BMI. Several requirements are reviewed case by case — answer honestly and we will talk to you rather than screen you out.

Compensation

At On Fertility Ground you set your own base rate. Most first-time surrogates set between $55,000 and $75,000, plus allowances and full coverage of medical and legal costs. We never negotiate your rate down.
